Domenica 18 maggio si è tenuta al Theatre Royal Drury Lane di Covent Garden la cerimonia di premiazione dei Bafta Television Awards 2014 i riconoscimenti assegnati dalla British Academy of Film and Television Arts alle migliori produzioni televisive e ai suoi protagonisti.
La parte del leone nelle serie TV l’ha fatta “Broadchurch”, la serie ideata da Chris Chibnall, su questa cittadina che appare tutto tranne che come un luogo idilliaco e tranquillo, mentre la migliore sitcom è “Him & Her The Wedding”. Il Bafta International è andato per l’ultima volta a Breaking Bad.
